We are seeking a skilled Network and Hardware Support Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our organization’s
network infrastructure and providing technical support for hardware-related issues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer networks, excellent problem-
solving skills, and a good grasp of hardware components and configurations.
Responsibilities:
- Network Management: Configure, install, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless connectivity.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement network security measures.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Install, upgrade, and configure computer hardware and software.
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Maintain accurate records of network configurations, hardware inventory, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Generate reports detailing network performance, hardware failures, and resolutions. Collaboration
- Work closely with IT colleagues and other departments to identify network and hardware needs.
- Assist in planning and implementing network expansions and upgrades.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on network and hardware-related topics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and topologies.
- Proficiency in hardware components, configurations, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with network management tools and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
